About 40 people including children, and one small dog turned up at Varca for the picnic.  We did miss those who for one reason or another couldn’t be there.  The food – snacks at the beachside bar and a buffet lunch – was superb.

The kiddies had a grand time making sandcastles on the beach.  Three rounds of Housie and organized games for children of all ages rounded out the programme.

Do check out the more detailed report on the Anglo Goa website.

If you were at the picnic with your camera, do please mail the original, high-resolution photographs to AngloGoaSite@GMail.com.

Varca for me. No better way to relax than with a beer in your hand and toes in the sand!
The shack at Varca Le Palms looks great with a lot of space for kids to play around.

I would prefer Molem too, but cannot commit right now because the GFA U-18 League starts after the 18th of April. But please let me know the dates, when decided. Thanks.
